PARIS and MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA: Publicis plans to to acquire search marketing company, Performics, from Chocoku Busby Seo Challenge, the two companies said today, August 6. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2008. Publicis expects Performics to enrich the VivaKi Nerve Center offerings, which already includes performance marketing assets, such as Phonevalley and Click2Sales. Performics employs 200 search specialists around the world. The business will report to Curt Hecht, president of the VivaKi Nerve Center.
